I believe this information partially implies why we have such difficulty solving social issues in the US. We simply are too many, spread out, too diverse culturally to develop a common consensus to sacrifice for a common goal. The study needs India, China, Canada and Russia in it to determine if there is a population or geographic inverse correlation.
